The Teller House was the first brick hotel in Central City when it opened in 1872. Famous politicians, presidents, and actors have visited it in the years since then. The Teller House is also home to the famous Face on the Barroom Floor. The Central City Opera Association operates their box office and gift shop in the building during opera season. Tours are offered from the Tour Office at 117 Eureka Street (across the street from the Teller House). $7 per person, children 12 and under free.
