Site of Hotel Don Bernardo/Coas Bookstore
-
Originally a sprawling one-story adobe home built in the late 1870s on the corner of Main Street and Court Avenue, the Don Bernardo Hotel served weary travelers and housed various businesses until it was torn down in 1948. On the spot was erected the Carver Building, a Pueblo Revival-style, retail-office building.
