At Fiddler's Vineyard, we consider ourselves a small family-owned winery with just that little something different. For us, making wine is a melodious affair. We believe each wine has its own melody, which is why each of our wines has a musical name. At Fiddler's Vineyard, our motto is "Where wine is composed on the vine." We not only believe that, we live by it, stand by, and want others to enjoy the songs from the vines.
Fiddler's Vineyard sells only the finest of Muscadine, Scuppernong, and fruit wines. We are committed to the highest standards of quality for, and from, our vineyard. Both wine connoisseurs and those just starting their love affair with Muscadine wine will find the musical notes from our collection not only irresistible but competitively priced. It is our goal to produce the best Muscadine grapes possible from our estate vineyard.
A family-owned business, Fiddler's Vineyard provides customers a selection of locally-grown fruits, fun family activities, and tours of the grounds and facilities. Our activities include the best in local, national, and international talent. The vineyard will also offer a wide range of performances serving the whole community. These performances will bring joy and delight to the young at heart and community support to many worthwhile causes.
Fiddler's Vineyard is whole-heartedly committed to providing and promoting the preservation of fiddle and traditional acoustic music. Equally important to us is promoting fellowship among fiddlers and traditional musicians and acts in our area and surrounding areas by sponsoring activities and performances. Owner's Mark and Sherry Crowder will open in the Spring of 2012, with a vision of creating the finest Muscadine Wine in the Carolinas
We invite you to come and experience the taste of North Carolina.
The Fiddler is Mark Crowder and he has been playing fiddle since 1987. He was born in Texas. He taught himself to play the fiddle at age 30. His fiddling style is uniquely his own influenced by other Texas, Cajun, Mexican, Irish and Bluegrass fiddlers and ability to blend several different genres made Mark a sought-after stage musician.
After Mark married Sherry Moore of Pipe Creek Texas, he moved and settled in Cherryville, NC and that is when he joined the Super Group Rodeo Flyer. They played at Coyote Joes Dance Hall in Charlotte NC for about 7 years. Playing there Mark enjoyed playing shows with such Nashville Stars as Reba McEntire, Mark Chestnut, Chirs LeDoux, Diamond Rio, Toby Keith, Tracy Lawrence, Trace Adkins, The Dixie Chicks, The Bellamy Brothers and many more.
Rodeo Flyer is the House band at Fiddler's Vineyard and there still having fun playing music they love.Check our Concert page for the dates they play.
