Where history is embraced, talent is cultivated and art; both visual and performing, are enjoyed.
Located in downtown Lincolnton, NC, the Lincoln Cultural Center has been housed in the former location of the First Baptist Church since 1991. The Classical Revival style building was designed by Charlotte architect J.M. McMichael and constructed in 1922. One of its most beloved features is the magnificent stained glass Rosette window in the dome of what is now Timken Performance Hall. Listed on the National Register for Historical Places, the Center is home to: The Arts Council of Lincoln County, Lincoln County Historical Association, Lincoln Community Concert Association, Lincoln Theatre Guild and the Jacob Forney Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
